During Hollywood’s awards season, celebrities attending a fabulous gift lounge became part of something special. In addition to stylish and luxury gifts and services offered to luminaries, an important lesson in safety was centerstage.

STOP-ATTACK.COM was the presenting sponsor of the always sensational GBK Productions lounge held in honor of the 2015 Oscar Awards. STOP-ATTACK.com partnered with GBK to make Hollywood aware of its assault-response app and help spread the word for the service for IOS and Android mobile devices. Stars and VIPs were shown how easy it was to use, and how the app is an invaluable personal protection resource. “Tap to record, get help, take control,” is what everyone was told. In light of recent news stories about attacks on college campuses, the little app safety lesson in the midst of all the glitz and gam made the event very relevant, and dozens of stars showed their support, including Lyndie Greenhood of Sleepy Hollow fame, and Khandi Alexander, Scandal.

There was a lot of fun stuff and pampering too at the Beverly Hills’ L’Ermitage Hotel celebration hosted by GBK founder Gavin Keilly. Guests were delighted to see a range of health, wellness, beauty products and fashion. For style BlazeClothiersUSA (www.BlazeClothiersUSA.com) caught fire. LaDarrius Bush, CEO of Blaze, and owner Reuben Ajayi, are rising stars in the fashion world. Mekhi Phifer became a fan of their clothing line and reported, “I love the Men’s Flannel shirt with the signature pockets.” Mekhi Phifer also liked the Blaze premium men’s t-shirt.

For stars looking to flash the perfect smile for the paparazzi, Dr. Jamie Sands Cosmetic Dentist, was gifting professional teeth whitening; and folks enjoyed an eight piece assortment gift box from John Kelly Chocolates. Beauty Kitchen by Heather Marianna provided skin polish, hand cut soap bars and natural spa products; DermaSet 3D Anti-Aging Renewal Treatment offered an all-in-one anti-aging cream; a full range of hair products from Jonathan Hair Care; 3 personal training sessions were offered with Celebrity Trainer Lalo Fuentes; and L.A. Star Greens Perfect 10 had the VIPs trying the world’s first certified organic blend of the top 10 superfoods.

Super popular candy—M&MS® offered award-themed personalized MY M&MS® and let guests create their own blends. And did you know that Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons has been voice of the Yellow M&M’S “spokescandy” for nearly 20 years. That’s what makes Simmons so sweet.

Pet lovers went wild over the collection of pet products from Support Ur Pet, a marketing company for the pet industry. They represent Vanderpump Pets, and the new line of pet accessories (leashes and adorable velvet bow tie collars!) launched by Lisa and Giggy Vanderpump on www.vanderpumppets.com. Also the fun and furry products from WonderWoof included a dog activity tracker that promotes puppy’s healthy and social lifestyle.

On the fashion front, Bands for Arms (www.bands4arms.com) had something that would never go out of style—handmade bracelets made out of donated military uniforms. Nick Mendoza’s company supports many military non-profit organizations with Bands for Arms, and Keir O’Donnell from American Sniper wore his band proudly. Equally meaningful was Still With You, a company that creates heart-warming memorial statues to comfort the bereaved in their darkest hours.

Also on hand were Shatra Designs, providing Bohemian-inspired luxury jewelry; men’s jeans Haala Denim; and bracelets handcrafted in Connecticut featuring gemstones with meaning and a message from Hazel and Harmony. Among other sponsors were Alila Hotels and Resorts, providing gift certificates for stays at Alila properties in India, Oman, Bali and more; Fancy Pants Wines with refreshing Pinot Grigio and rich, juicy Red Blend; and services from Jim Hjort, LCSW a Psychotherapist and Right Life Coach. Plus a California grizzly bear (well, a guy in a bear suite) was posing with guests and informing them about Energy Upgrade California®, a state initiative to help Californians save energy and conserve natural resources.

A worthwhile charity participant was Each Mind Matters: California’s Mental Health Movement working to advance mental health, thanks to their sponsor the hope & grace initiative. Feel-good music was provided by GoodBoy to help everyone celebrate another awesome awards season. #
