Talk about the perfect day, perfect site & perfect pair — the wedding on June 27th held at the hilltop castle of Dr. Danne King (aka Socialite/Philanthropist Liz Loren,) was the first all-out-full glamorous gay wedding, held the day after the announcement that the Supreme Court approved same sex weddings nationally!
The guest list included many prominent West-side VIP’s, including Dr. Lewis Weintraub, who proudly gave the Bride away; Grace Robbins (wife of the late author, Harold Robbins) came in from Palm Springs, & Kaarina Kivilahti jetted in from Helsinki, Finland where Dr. Danne operates several of his 7,000 clinics worldwide. Also in attendance was Washington Insider, Yale Scott, formerly associated with Laura Bush and Ambassador Nancy Brinker.
American Activist Stuart Milk (nephew of the late Harvey Milk) flew in to be Best Man. Dr. King is an avid supporter of his organization, which assists & guides gay people in their quest to be accepted. Stuart is a great friend of King and his partner, Drue Assiter-King. Best wishes & congratulations to this charming couple.
