Aidikoff Screening Room, Celeb Beauty Suite, Oscar Soiree News

Charles Aidikoff has been hosting screenings for the biggest stars in Hollywood for over 40 years.  He has screened films for such luminaries  as Sidney Poitier and Al Pacino (seen here with Aidikoff). Lightyear Digital Entertainment recently completed an extensive retrofit of the Screening Room, located on Rodeo Drive in B.H., and renamed it:  The Charles Aidikoff Screening Room, A Lightyear Digital Entertainment Theatre.

To celebrate their collaboration, and Aidikoff’s 96th Birthday, we attended a star-studded soiree, catered by Porta Via, and were treated to a Special Academy 3-D Screening of The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen.

Some of the industry biggies in attendance included Carl Reiner, Renee Taylor & Joe Bologna, Arthur Hiller and James Whitmore, Jr.

Kudos to Francesca Daniels and PR pro Edward Lozzi for presenting a most interesting & exciting industry event

Speaking of exciting industry events – we are looking forward to Norby Walter’s 21st Annual Night of 100 Stars Oscar Viewing Gala in the Beverly Hills Crystal Ballroom on Sunday, Feb.27th.  Guests are treated to an open bar, and 5-star cuisine, including the finest wines.  The best part is that you are viewing the Oscars alongside such tablemates as Daniel Baldwin, Laura Dern, Harry Hamlin, Lucy Lawless (our table-mate last year), and astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

This year, Richard Mille, one of the world’s youngest and most expensive Swiss luxury watch brands, is the Title Sponsor for the event, so you can be assured that it will be glamorous, glitzy and gorgeous!

Over 200 stars – including many former Oscar Winners, are invited guests; and you may also attend this black tie event, for $1,000 per person.  For further information, please call 310-446-5416. Hope to see you there!

And while on the subject of Celebs and the beautiful people, we attended Lynn & Roger Neal’s Golden Globe Glamour Suite at the L’Ermitage Hotel  where celebs were treated to ultimate beauty treatments, as they prepared to walk the red carpet.  Receiving facials from G.M. Collin, were stars from, Glee, Madmen and Entourage to name a few – and we got a personal recommendation from Dee Wallace about their fabulous Phyto Stem Cell collection.

Particularly loved the ShaBoom makeup, which were created to generate social awareness.  Proceeds from these products support One Mama, a program that provides medical supplies & clinics to assist the poor in Uganda. We ran into American Idol’s most gorgeous contestant, Adam Lambert, who seemed to love their fiercely natural Drag collection.

Got to admit – it looks better on him, than me!
