Honda’s Gourmet Food and Wine Festival Returns to Torrance this weekend

Honda’s Gourmet Food and Wine Festival Returns to Torrance This Weekend

“An Evening Under the Stars,” American Honda Motor Co., Inc.’s 24th annual Gourmet Food & Wine Tasting Festival, Saturday, August 7 celebrates the best in South Bay cuisine while raising funds for nonprofit Torrance Memorial Medical Center. 

The annual event, presented in partnership with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on the grounds of American Honda in Torrance. Tickets are $125 per person or $200 per pair and can be purchased by calling the chamber at 310-540-5858, the Torrance Memorial Health Care Foundation 310-517-4703 or by visiting www.TorranceMemorial.org.

Funds raised from the event will benefit Torrance Memorial’s new Main Tower and pediatric services.   This marks the fourth consecutive year that Honda has chosen Torrance Memorial as the event’s beneficiary.

In addition to featuring premier restaurants, wineries and a silent auction, jazz fusionist and five-time Grammy award winner Daniel Ho will perform.

Exceptional food and wine tastings will accompany the lively music.   To date, participating restaurants include the Café Pacific at Trump National, Baleen Los Angeles, Zinc Lounge at Shade Hotel, Mucho Ultima Mexicana, Rock’N Fish, the Depot, Buffalo Fire Department, Fleming’s Prime Steak House & Wine Bar, Creative Cakery Redondo Beach, Le Rive Gauche, Ortega 120, Paciugo Gelato Caffe, Red Car Brewery, Sushi Boy, The Loft, The Melting Pot, Fresh Brothers, Sushi Boy, the Loft, Gyu-Kaku Restaurant, Mucho, Napa Rose Sommeliers, and many other top South Bay restaurants.

Approximately 80 varietals of wine will be served and professional sommeliers from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel’s Napa Rose restaurant will be on hand to educate guests about wine.
