Party in the Snow with the Stars & Fulfillment Fund Gala

TV Host and magician Justin Williams amazed guests at Little Remedies and Trueheart Events by making it snow inside theHollywoodhotspot, Avalon.  Among the stars frolicking in the Winter Wonderland were Ali Fedotowsky (The Bachelorette), Alison Sweeney, Audrey Anderson-Emmons( Modern Family), Brad Garrett and True Blood’s star Jamie Gray Hyder.

The event benefited Children’s Hospital inLos Angeles, and hundreds of patients and their families were invited to this magical day.  Some of the gifts they received included cuddly Panda bears from iiJin wearing a t-shirt that said “iiJin loves you”, and tons of Little Remedies products which are the perfect remedies for cold and flu season.  Grey’s Anatomy star, Sarah Drew was stocking up on some of these items for her son, Micah

Lots of holiday goodies were enjoyed including a gourmet pancake bar, tasty mac n cheese and, of course a gorgeous Sweets Table, which was a hit with the partygoers.  There was even a holiday cookie decorating station, which Leverage star Aidis Hodge, and his brother Cougar Town star Edwin Hodge, enjoyed participating in with patients.

Lots of holiday music filled the air, and Katrina Parker (The Voice) sang a gorgeous rendition of All I Want for Christmas is You.

Kudos to Amy Malin of Trueheart Events who was overjoyed to see all of the beautiful and deserving patients having such a great time at their holiday soiree.

At another event, Rob Moore, Chairman, Paramount Pictures, and Tom Booker and Wells Fargo Bank were feted at the Fulfillment Fund Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.  More than 1,000 guests attended the star-studded event, which featured Erica Linz, star of Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away, and special performance by the Plain White T’s.

The Fulfillment Fund is dedicated to making college a viable opportunity for students in low- income communities. Thousands of students have earned their degree through the generosity of their extraordinary supporters, and they have become a model for change in cities around the country.

Award winning actor/comedian Adam Sander presented the STARS 2012 Award to Rob Moore, Vice Chairman of Paramount Pictures.  During his tenure, they have released eight of its top ten highest grossing films of all time, including Transformers, Star Trek, Indiana Jones and Iron Man.

Fulfillment Fund founders Cherna and Gary Gitnick MD presented their Humanitarian Award to Tom Booker and Wells Fargo Bank for their extraordinary voluntary activities. In 2011, Wells Fargo and its team members contributed more than $27 million to nonprofit organizations in greaterL.A.andOrangeCounty. Good money, for good causes indeed!
