The 6th annual TASTE AWARDS were held in Hollywood on January 15, 2015 with a Red Carpet celebration at the iconic Egyptian Theatre.

Also known as the Tasty Awards, they are the premier broadcast awards show celebrating the year’s best achievements in Food & Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, and on Radio.

Celebrity Presenters for the event included Cat Cora (Bravo, Food Network), Chef Tanya Holland (The Food Network, The Cooking Channel, PBS), Fabio Viviani (Bravo), James Cunningham (Cooking Channel), Joanne Weir (PBS), Robert Irvine (Food Network), Chef Nathan Lyon (PBS, Food Network), Candice Kumai (Cooking Channel, Food Network, TLC, Lifetime), Brian Boitano (The Food Network), Bobby Bognar (The History Channel) and Darryl Robinson (The Cooking Channel).

P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home was the winner of this year’s “Best Green or Organic Program”, receiving the award for the second year in a row. The public television program was one of seven nominees which included “The Healthy Voyager”, “Jazzy Vegetarian” and PBS’ “The Lexicon of Sustainability”.

P. Allen Smith is an award-winning designer, gardening and lifestyle expert and host of two public television programs, Garden Home and Garden to Table, and the syndicated 30-minute show P. Allen Smith Gardens. Smith is an advocate of organic gardening and weed prevention.

Food and Drink are themes which have been the focus of entire cable networks, online hubs, mobile channels, and blockbuster films. They’ve launched chefs, restaurants, celebrities and wineries. The Taste Awards recognizes and acknowledges outstanding excellence in video, film, mobile and interactive content focused on food, drink, and lifestyle.
