How does Hollywood celebrate Earth Day? With “Green Gifts,” of course, thanks to Distinctive Assets (DA), the entertainment marketing company credited with starting the celebrity swag trend over a decade ago.

For their annual celebration of Earth Day, DA created a phenomenal gift bag for 25 special environmentally-conscious celebrities. On the list was Woody Harrelson, who is very proud of the fact that he was conferred an honorary degree from York University for his contributions in the fields of environmental education, sustainability, and activism.

Among the other eco-friendly stars were Sting (who reports he’s embarrassed sometimes when he arrives in a limo), Tom Hanks, Rosario Dawson, Jeremy Piven, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Daryl Hannah, Drew Barrymore, Ellen DeGeneres, Orlando Bloom, Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Hartnett, Bill Maher, Adrian Greiner, Kate Bosworth, P!nk, Dave Matthews, Barbra Streisand, Alicia Silverstone, Courteney Cox, Cameron Diaz, Edward Norton and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The “Earth Day in Hollywood” gift bags were distributed with a fabulous collection of innovative, unique, and most importantly– useful “green” products and services.

This year’s eco-eclectic gift assortment included Splurge Skincare; EC Galleries artwork– an inspiring painting called “Celestial Spring” by Daniel Ryan; Angel Minaro Exquisite Beauty; The Artisan Group handcrafted gifts; Imanta tropical resort stay to Punta Mita, Mexico; The Sili Squeeze; and Nutrex Hawaii BioAstin Hawaiian Astaxanthin, and Hawaiian Spirulina Pacifica.

Plus, Fetch–for Pets! Innovative pet products; Peculiar Potions Cheesecake Lip Balm; Columbia Healing Cream; World’s Best Cat Litter; Coucoon Chrysalis luxury hair care; Santi “Heaven on Earth” face cream; The Green Garmento 4-in-1 reusable dry cleaning bags; and the Krystal Klear Water Filtration System.

Aaah, so refreshing, cool clean water from Mother Earth.
