Oh my, its Mariah Carey, at this year’s Teen Choice Awards, airing Monday, August 4th on Fox.

Mariah is set to grab the spotlight performing her new single “I’ll Be Lovin.’” But the sexy diva will have some competition with all the gorgeous gals who will be on hand, including the super-sweet hostess Miley Cyrus, who will sing something from her hit new album “Breakout.”

Also among the Hollywood hotties scheduled to attend are Sophia Bush, Hayden Panettiere, Scarlett Johansson, Mischa Barton, Brittany Snow, Pink, Jaime Pressly, Danica Patrick, Selena Gomez, Kristen Bell and JoJo.

Among the great guys announced are Zac Efron, Chad Michael Murray, Jesse McCartney, Chance Crawford, Drake Bell, the bad boy from Lost Josh Holloway and the good guy from Get Smart Steve Carell.

It should be the summer’s hottest awards special, especially with the Jonas Brothers agreeing to answer questions submitted via MySpace during the show.

There’s a big tie-in with MySpace this year thanks to the creativity that sets the Teen Choice Awards apart from all the other trophy-fests. This year a new “Choice MySpacer Award” will be given to a celebrity who has blogged, posted bulletins and put personal updates on their MySpace page to connect with their fan.

Plus there’s a new “Choice Most Fanatic Fan” for the star who has the most dedicated fan base. The Jonas Brothers are up against Miley Cyrus, as well as  Britney Spears, Jesse McCartney and American Idol cutie David Archuleta.

Ultra-popular with her fans is Sophia Bush, the One Tree Hill goddess who has three surfboards already. Last year she took home three Teen Choice Awards, for Choice Comedy Movie Actress for John Tucker Must Die; Choice Horror Movie Actress for The Hitcher; and an overall honor Choice Movie Breakout Star.

Sophia is always very sweet when she strolls down the red carpet, stopping to chat with almost everyone. She’s not like some celebrities who just do a quick appearance in front of the mob of photographers, and then a quick sound-bite for TV entertainment news cameras.

So what does stunning Sophia like to talk about? Ask her about her figure and she’ll tell you how hard she works to stay in shape. “Cross-training is the best workout routine. Running with my dogs is my favorite way to exercise,” she says. During down time on the set, she likes to play games. She flashes her bright smile and reports, “I’m just a big kid.”

It’s always fun and games backstage at Fox TV’s Teen Choice Awards, with the stars creating a traffic jam going in and out of the Backstage Creations’ Celebrity Retreat. It’s a product showcase lounge where famous faces look for the latest must-haves.
