Fashion and beauty at the MTV Movie Awards Lounge

Fashion and beauty were in the spotlight during this year’s MTV Movie Awards. The event is always a great opportunity to observe the latest styles and fashion-forward accessory trends, especially at the luxury gift lounges.

There was an emphasis on worthwhile causes at the fun and fresh celebrity retreat hosted by GBK Events at the L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills. It was held in celebration of the MTV Movie Awards, and the event supported the (RED)™ non-profit organization created by rocker Bono and Bobby Shriver to fight AIDS in Africa.

The (RED) Rush Games powered by STiKS Gaming were big contributors to the charity, letting gamers know how they can help the cause and have fun too with the global video game tournament. Go to www.stiksgaming.com.

There was another product with a cause that was emphasizing building self-esteem within multi-ethnic communities. Halfbreed Clothing Company had tees and tanks that impressed the stars with their message of being proud of mixed heritage background. Go to www.halfbreedclothingco.com for more about the lifestyle brand.

Emys Clothing has a mission to use sustainable products to increase the global awareness of our ecosystems. What is unique about Emys is that it is a fabulous line of sustainable bamboo clothing, soft and stylish. And ten percent of sales are donated to local conservation causes. www.emysclothing.com.

Lotus Premium Denim was showcasing their signature slim straight denim collection, made for women to fit just right, and equally as important, to feel comfortable. Kent Denim was gifting their men’s premium indigo cone and Japanese Kuroki denim jeans. www.lotuspremiumdenim.com, www.kentdenim.com.

Accessories were also making a splash, especially the fabulous handcrafted products from The Artisan Group, www.theartisangroup.org. And Ruby Roxanne Designs had unique leather accessories that made a fashion statement with a fine eye for detail. www.rubyroxannedesigns.com.

The celebrity-favorite RevitaLash Advanced eyelash conditioner and mascara; Keratin Complex hair care product line; Negris LeBrum Clothing company; Robdechi scarf hoodie; the edgy, young Plomo shoe brand; Cartography one of a kind necklaces; and ImPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails were also among the fashion and beauty products enjoyed by trendy celebrities such as Jennifer Love Hewitt currently seen strutting her lovely stuff in The Client List series.

Disney star Roshon Fegan who strutted on Dancing with the Stars was seen beaming over the colorful and stylish Armitron Watches and Sprout eco-friendly timepieces. Roshon also delighted the crowd by strumming on the unique guitar created by the Cubify 3D Cube printer, which made iphone cases for everyone.

Other young stars enjoyed seeing MGA Entertainment’s new bald Bratz doll called True Hope, which reflected a kid fighting cancer with strength and fierceness. And they got a look at the new Bratzilla dolls that possess magical powers.

Another darling doll from Jada Toys was Cutie Pops that came with “style pops” to decorate them to create the ultimate fashion looks. They also deserve kudos for generously donating to children’s charities including the Ronald McDonald House. Modern Family’s Rico Rodriguez and his sister Raini Rodriguez (Austin & Ally) thought that was wonderful.

And Toy State presented a cool motorized James Bond 007 car that went “zoom” around the Illuminated Industries decorated room.

Also on hand at the lounge MTV’s Awkward stars Nikki Deloach, Molly Tarlov, Matthew Fahey, and Jillian Rose Reed, plus Hart of Dixie’s Deborah Craig, and many more turning the event into a party.
