The beautiful and serene Japanese Gardens of Gonpachi of Beverly Hills was the perfect setting for the Endless Summer Primetime Emmy Suite, which brought “Fun in the Sun” to a gaggle of celebs.  Over 100 of Hollywood’s finest, including CSI’s beauty Eva La Rue and her equally beauteous Sister, the Bachelorette’s Ali Fedotowsky & Hubby to be – Robert Martinez, Antonio Sabato Jr. and two time Oscar winner, Shirley Jones, were among the stars who declared, “This is the most amazing event, ever!” 

We particularly enjoyed chatting with handsome Eric Roberts, who has beat his sister Julia Roberts at the box-office last weekend, as The Expendables won over Eat Pray Love.  Roberts can also be seen on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, which will screen on VHI later this year.  He is happy to report that he won this most important battle – over his addiction to marijuana

Armitron watches, Twisted Silver and Playboy Jeans  We particularly loved the colorful handbags and shoes offered by Menbur from Granda Spain. And, in the spirit of giving back, guests donated and autographed their favorite book to Room to Read for auction, to help combat illiteracy around the world. Kudos to Doris Bergman & Kathy Dullaks the Queens of Nice.

At another swag Suite at the fabulous SLS Hotel, sponsored by GBK and Tic Tac, spotted Neil Patrick Harris sporting a huge bag of goodies.

Patrick had a lot to be smiling about these days, as the expectant Dad of twins, picked up two Emmys for his role as MC of the 63^rd Tony Awards, and as Outstanding Guest Actor for his turn on Glee.

Some of the other Emmy Nominees and Presenters at this event included Seth Green, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Adrian Brody who scored a free trip to the Caribbean, compliments of Caribbean Living Magazine.

But not only the celebs benefited from this event, partial proceeds will go to Hollywood Arts, an educational facility which helps high risk people over 18 to improve self image, and receive job readiness training; and the Ann & George Lopez Foundation, which assists children confronting challenges in education & health.  Remember the adage:  “Every charitable act is a stepping stone toward heaven.”
