Ballsy and Cheeky – Cleansing and Emollients for Men

There is a veritable tsunami of choices men face when it comes to taking care of their skin. It is becoming evident that a cheeky attitude works in myriad contexts (a trip to London a few years ago confirmed the cheeky strategy has extended to tea rooms).

Now along comes Ballsy, with a line of men’s grooming products that make you grin when shopping online, and again when in the shower. These guys prefer to think of themselves as snarky, but cheeky works as well when you review the products they have on offer.

To their existing line of Ballwash, Nut Rub, Sack Spray and Good Head the Ballsy folks added Liquid Courage Body Wash. The unique ingredients deliver a fresh cleansing:

  • Jojoba Spheres | Lightly exfoliates while hydrating skin
  • Aloe Vera | Helps lock moisture into skin
  • Coconut Oil | Reduces inflamed or irritated skin

I have found Ballwash pretty great in the shower; the activated charcoal is certainly an ingredient I don’t think has seen my undercarriage previously.

For the scalp, the Good Head Shampoo and Conditioner pair up nicely. Each are lightly scented and comprised of all natural ingredients (sparkling citrus, vanilla covered coconuts and driftwood). Both formulations are free of parabens, sulfates and synthetic dyes.

I have long preferred a solid cologne, far easier in my travel kit. The Nut Rub is not limited to any specific geographic use, I find a slight dab on the side of my neck does the job.
