Lots of celebrities were walking the red carpet for the Secret Room Events Red Carpet Style Lounge. The extravagant gift lounge experience was hosted in honor of the 86th Academy Award nominees and had a lot of star power at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. But grabbing the spotlight away from the celebs were two huge lovable dogs who reminded everyone that the event benefited the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles.

Kudos to Secret Room Events for bringing awareness and accepting donations for the spcaLA, which believes that animals, as living creatures, have value beyond economic measurement, and are entitled to legal, moral and ethical consideration and protection. A Great Dane with soulful eyes and Dalmatian spots was a great representative for the organization, and loved to be photographed—working the camera better than a Lindsay Lohan mugshot!

In addition to the dogs, the stars, media and VIPs enjoyed a great showcase of the latest in apparel, jewelry, accessories, home furnishings, electronics, skincare, travel destinations, and more.

Pet product sponsors had innovative items such as Voyce wearable technology health and wellness device for dogs. They say it will help you understand your dog like never before. Also Majestic Home’s high quality pet beds; Jon Paul Pet’s comprehensive pet care products, and GooFurr Inc. medication delivery system for pets to make medicating your cat or dog easier.

Celebs with kids loved Hape Toy’s creatively designed and eco-friendly sustainable toys; Sleep Belt’s hands free skin-to-skin support system for baby; Chez Shea Baby patented bibs for babies and toddlers; and AlternaVites Kids, the new face of children’s vitamins. Plus Nomadic State of Mind had ultra-comfy sandals for kids and adults. But they came with the warning: “These sandals may cause the urge to wander the planet in search of peace, love and good times.” Check it out at www.nomadicstate.com.

Something yummy for foodies included LA’s La Brea Bakery premier artisan bread brand. And the Aloha spirit came from North Shore Goodies, a sponsor making the trip from Waialua, Hawaii, home of the original Coconut Peanut Butter. Celebs went wild over the old Sugar Mill plantation recipes that are used in making their gourmet Peanut Butter. Go to www.northshoregoodies.net.

Broadway’s Dreamgirls star Sheryl Lee Ralph and many other stars were oohing and aahing over the colorful bags with goodies from Divine Designs.
