Cover Girl and fashion model Jasmine Dustin and Celebrity Matchmaker Gina Hendrix hosted the launch party for Models n’Mutts, a new organization of models and other beautiful women who raise money for animals in need. The event took place at the glamorous Social House inHollywood. Among the sponsors was Voli Light Vodka. This evening benefited animals affected during Hurricane Sandy, and raised $15,000 through donations and contributions, including leashes, collars and food.
Super Models of all decades were in attendance, headed by the ageless Cheryl Tiegs (Sports Illustrated) and Joanna Kruppa, who was named the sexiest woman alive by GC. Others beautiful and compassionate animal lovers included Soap Star, Brenda Dickson (Young & The Restless), International DJ, Colleen Shannon, and Producer Pamela Shae, who worked with Aaron Spelling for many years.

But the real stars of the evening were of the 4-legged variety, including Sonny Ray, a rescue turned service and emotional therapy dog, who has become the very first Pit-bull Ambassador. Sonny has appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing, and The Animal Planet’s special on Pitt Bulls. Known as the “Coolest Dog on the Planet” (maybe it’s those horned rimmed glasses) – proves you can’t judge a book by its cover.
Another lucky dog at the soiree was famed shoe designer, Donald Pliner’s pooch, Baby Doll, who won the dinner for two at Craig’s restaurant. Wonder if they serve doggie dishes there?

At another event at the Beverly Hills Country Club, we attended an interesting seminar on Age Management, conducted by Judi Smith, head of the International Clinics of Biological Regeneration. The ICBR was founded by Sir Tomkin Smith, MD over 40 years ago to offer regenerative Cell therapy to everyone. Over 40% of the patients have serious diseases or other debilitating problems, but the rest are interested in the anti ageing benefits of cell therapy (& who isn’t?).

Among the attractive attendees were Actress & Attorney Louisa Moritz , Grace Robbins, Widow of world-renown author, Harold Robbins, Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence Birnbaum, Lady Minda Lansdale, who jetted in from London, and Gloria and David Levisohn.

The cocktail reception was hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Lew Weintraub and Dr. Danne King, world renowned skin revision expert. He is best known as the creator of the popular pain reliever BIOFREEZE and medical silicone makeup foundation, which is seen in several current films, and on the fabulous faces of the performers in Dancing with the Stars.
