For the past 8 years, famed attorney Robert Shapiro and his gorgeous wife, Linell and son Grant have paid tribute to deceased eldest son, Brent, who succumbed to alcohol and drug use, by honoring sober individuals and educating about addiction. This year, the event was held at Mei Sze Chan and Jeff Greene’s 40,000 sq. ft. palatial estate in the B.H. canyon, and honored Ted Danson (Cheers) for Angel’s At Risk; actor Harry Hamlin, and two college bound sober students from the Phoenix House, who received fully paid scholarships to continue their education
TV personality, Pat O’Brien served as Master of Ceremonies, while tough guy actor, Robert Davi, crooned Frank Sinatra’s tunes to an enthusiastic audience, including Russell Simmons, Larry King, Paula Abdul, Berry Gordy, Sugar Ray Leonard and Brian Lee (LegalZoom co-founder) to name a few.

The glamorous Presidential Suite of the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel was the perfect setting for a Ladies Luncheon, in honor of Blas Nunez Ortiz and his new skincare business with the age-defying treatment Nerium AD. This elegant event was hosted by Shelley Hann, a 38 year veteran of the beauty industry, and Larry Link, president of CLOUT Internationale, a consulting firm specializing in technical services (Social Media Marketing) and essential business and residential services, as well as security and automation.
