This annual event showcases Australian Achievements throughout the United States, and more than 1000 guests dined on fabulous fare, prepared by Aussie celeb chef Curtis Stone, while enjoying Penfolds wines and Coopers beer. Dressed in a stunning Bagley Mishka sequined gown, supermodel Ellie Macpherson was the glamorous MC, who introduced performers including a didgeridoo player, and members of the Australian Girls Choir. Even Air Supply turned up for a brief performance!

Flash — just heard that pop icon and animal advocate Ke$ha will receive the prestigious Wyler Award at the Genesis benefit Gala on Saturday, March 25th at the Beverly Hilton. She is the Humane Society’s International First Global Ambassador for Animals, and has spread the word to stop seal slaughter, dog fighting and other animal welfare concerns.
