SHHH! I,m going to share a most important secret with you. It's called Whist at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica and it will only last these next three Sundays in January. It just may be the finest value of all time for their fifty-five dollar stellar, most appetizing, fabulous brunch is now priced at $20.08. It's their super bargain giveaway to all their friends in honor of the the New Year!
What's on the menu? Only six different fresh fruits; three marvelous salads; fresh peeled shrimp; crab legs; roast salmon with pineapple; lox, bagels and cream cheese; Eggs Benedict or Omelette of your choice prepared to order, bacon, sausage, waffles, blueberry French toast; lamb chops, tri-tip, pork sirloin or the tastiest, freshest roast beef this side of Lawry's; a cheese tray to amaze; a variety of fresh vegetables; and desserts, desserts, desserts – about a dozen different kinds in all shapes and sizes plus the best coffee anywhere! Sounds good? It's better than that!
Please be prepared and on notice for the following: Orange juice is extra; all-you-can-drink champagne or Bloody Mary's will run an extra twenty; parking with validation is eight dollars, so look for a space on Ocean or Pico Boulevard.
This brunch is all the same quality and variety of food served at their regular fifty-five dollar price, making this a true foodies paradise. However, the normal price resumes in February. The servers and wait staff do an admirable job of serving and making sure your coffee or juice is refilled, your dirty plates whisked away and your comfort attended to in any way possible. These are very nice people who are welcoming you to their very beautiful abode so do change your plans, call them at 310-260-7500 and make your reservations now for January 13, 20 or 27 for a feast.
