Super agent Norby Walters reprises his role as Producer and Dinner Chairman for the 24th Annual Stars Oscar Gala on Sunday, March 2, 2014, and, of course, the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel will again provide the venue.

Quinton Aaron & Tonya York Dees at Derby Prelude Party
At another soiree, Hollywood joined forces with true Southern hospitality to celebrate the spirit of the Kentucky Derby, for a night of philanthropy, wining and dining atop the London West Hollywood, for the annual unbridled Derby Prelude Party. This event was the kickoff to the Kentucky Derby that takes place the first Saturday in May, at Churchill Downs in Louisville.
This event benefited Blessing a Backpack, a non-profit organization that feeds a child in the program for one year for only $100! This program supports elementary school children whose families qualify, and who have minimal food on weekends. The event was founded and presented by the gorgeous sisters Tonya York Dees and Tammy York Day, with Presenting Sponsor, Humana Vitality. A cadre of celebs from film & TV, as well as acclaimed jockeys and athletes were in attendance. Among these were Taye Diggs, Anthony Anderson, Quinton Aaron, Judd Nelson, and several Derby winning jockeys, including Mike Smith and three- time Derby winner, Gary Stevens.

The Unbridled Eve Derby Gala will be held on Friday, May 2nd. at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville; and the 140th Kentucky Derby will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014. Time to buy myself a new chapeau, and strut my stuff in the old South this Spring!
